  • The Hanford Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit, pro-business organization that brings the Hanford area businesses and representatives together to achieve a common goal- to make Hanford a better place to live, work and do business.
     
    Networking Opportunities
    Your participation in committee activities gives you and your business exposure to the community and the opportunity to network with other Chamber members.
    Members are encouraged to host Mixers. You can use the Chamber office, or entertain at your place of business. Great way to meet new contacts and exchange business ideas.
     
    Ribbon Cuttings/Grand Openings
    Our Chamber provides each member free publicity regarding the formal opening of their facilities.
     
    The Ambassadors Team
    Ambassadors are the “Good Will” group of professionals, interested in making contacts with new and existing businesses in the community, and networking with chamber members. Becoming an Ambassador is one of the best ways to get connected in the Chamber.
     
    Membership Referrals
    The most important benefit of membership in the Chamber is referrals by the Chamber office.
     
    Plaque
    Each member of our Chamber receives an attractive membership plaque. This lets your customers and clients know that your business is a contributor to the community
     
    Membership Directory
    An annual publication where members are listed categorically and alphabetically in the booklet.
     
    Monthly Newsletter
    Each member receives a Chamber E-newsletter promoting activities each month. You can advertise your business by placing an insert in the newsletter.
     
    Chamber Website
    Each member is listed in the Membership Roster of the Chamber website www.hanfordchamber.com with a link to the members website.
     
    Relocation Packages
    Each year our Chamber answers thousands of inquiries from businesses, visitors and those looking to relocate needing information on the marketplace. We provide Relocation Packages that includes the Chamber Directory, Visitors Guide and County Map.
     
    Member Mailing List
    The Chamber mailing list is available to members. Utilizing the Chamber mailing list is an effective way to send out any large mailing to area businesses.
     
    Member Database
    Sent via email, this mailing list includes the primary contact for the member business, company name, and address. The mailing list can also include: telephone number, and business classification.
     
    Certificates of Origin
    The certificate of origin is a document certifying the country in which the product was manufactured, and in certain cases may include such information as the local material and labor contents of the product. The purpose of the Certificate of Origin is to authenticate the country of origin of the merchandise being shipped.
     
    Display Center
    Display your organization’s brochure, business cards and other marketing materials at the Chamber office
     
    Member to Member Discounts
    Member to Member Discounts allow you to receive discounts when you do business with fellow Chamber members. If you are interested in offering a discount to Chamber members, please email your company information with discount offered.
     
    E-Blast
    The Chamber wants to help you put your business in the spotlight. The "Weekly E-Blast" sends out your event , good news or promotion to Chamber Members
     
    Business Counseling
    The Small Business Development Center provides free services including, but are not limited to, assisting small businesses with financial, marketing, production, organization, engineering and technical problems and feasibility studies
     
    Notary Services
    The Executive Director is a licensed Notary Public and can administer services at your convenience. One complimentary Notary Services per year is included in your membership.

    • Pay your annual investments (dues) promptly. This helps you by ensuring you continue to receive benefits in a timely manner and helps the organization because the financial base is there to provide programs.
    • Join a committee if there's a program or project in which you're interested.
    • Provide us with feedback, such as responding to our surveys or offering us suggestions.
    • Ask us if you have a question about what we're doing or why we're doing something, or why we're not!
    • Let us know when you have concerns, suggestions, or when things are great and you want to thank us.
    • Attend events when you can, or if you can't maybe you can support them in other ways.
    • Support other Chamber Members. Shop the Chamber first. Refer to your membership directory or call the office for information on who in the Chamber can supply your needs, and remember: many offer Members to Members discounts. Tell your business associates the benefits of Chamber Membership, and if they aren't members…bring them into the organization.
